This quickstart shows you how to start tracking your brand's AI search visibility with AnswerixAI. You create an account, answer six short setup steps, choose a plan, and AnswerixAI begins asking AI answer engines your prompts. It is written for the person setting up AnswerixAI for the first time.

What do you need before you start?#

To start with AnswerixAI you need four things: your brand name and website domain, the region and language your customers search in, a few competitors to compare against, and a payment card for checkout. First-time customers get a 14-day free trial on Starter, Growth and Business.

How do I create an account?#

1. Go to Sign up and create your account.
2. Follow the setup wizard, which walks you through your first brand.

How does the setup wizard work?#

The setup wizard has six steps. Each step builds on the one before it, so the suggestions get more relevant as you go.

1. Set up your brand: enter your Brand name and Website, and optionally Describe your brand.
2. Select your target market: choose a Region (one of 18) and a Language (one of 13).
3. Choose topics to monitor: select suggested topics or add your own, up to 10.
4. Review your prompts: AnswerixAI writes 5 prompts per topic; remove the ones you don't want or add your own.
5. Add your competitors: keep the suggested competitors or add your own. You need at least one.
6. Choose your plan: pick Starter, Growth or Business and complete checkout. Enterprise is available through sales.

What happens after checkout?#

After checkout, AnswerixAI takes you to the Visibility page and starts the first tracking run for your brand automatically. Results appear on the page as the AI engines answer, and a progress banner shows while the run is in progress.

From then on, AnswerixAI runs every active prompt once a day on the AI engines selected for it. You don't need to start the daily run yourself.

What should you look at first?#

After your first AnswerixAI tracking run, look at four pages in order: Visibility for your headline numbers, Citations for the websites AI engines rely on, Prompts for prompt-by-prompt results, and Content for content opportunities.

1. Open Visibility to see your Visibility score, mentions, citations, sentiment and share of voice. Read Visibility for what each number means.
2. Open Citations to see which websites AI engines rely on in your category. See Citations.
3. Open Prompts to see how you perform prompt by prompt and to add suggested prompts. See Prompts.
4. Open Content to review content opportunities for the prompts where competitors beat you. See Content.
