Content
Turn AI visibility gaps into ranked content opportunities, AI-written content briefs and full article drafts, then send them to your workflow.
Updated
The AnswerixAI Content page turns gaps in your AI visibility into a ranked list of content opportunities. For any opportunity you can generate a content brief, then a full article draft, and send the result to your workflow tool with a webhook. It is for content and SEO teams who want to know what to write next to show up in AI answers. Open it from Content in the sidebar; the page heading is Content Opportunities.
Content is available on every paid plan. Brief and draft generation have monthly quotas, listed below.
Where do content opportunities come from?
AnswerixAI generates opportunities automatically as your tracking data comes in. For each brand it scores your tracked prompts that have AI answers, takes the 25 highest-scoring prompts, and asks an AI model to propose specific content ideas for them. Each opportunity is linked to one prompt. An idea with the same title for the same prompt isn't added again while the first one is still New.
Every opportunity has:
- A title and a short description of the idea.
- A Type: Owned (content you publish on your site) or Earned (coverage on third-party sites).
- An Impact: High, Medium or Low, assigned by the AI model.
- A Score from 0 to 100.
- A Status: New, Sent to Workflow, In Progress, Done or Dismissed.
How is the opportunity score calculated?
The AnswerixAI opportunity score is a 0–100 number calculated from the related prompt's data, weighted 40% volume, 30% visibility gap, 20% competitor gap and 10% intent. A high score points to a prompt with high estimated AI volume, a large visibility gap and competitors ahead of you.
| Component | Weight | How it is measured |
|---|---|---|
| Volume | 40% | Estimated monthly AI volume for the prompt, capped at 50,000. |
| Visibility gap | 30% | 100 minus your average per-answer visibility score on the prompt. |
| Competitor gap | 20% | How far your tracked competitors are ahead of you on the prompt, from 0 to 100. |
| Intent | 10% | A weight by search intent: comparison prompts score highest, then "best/top", "vs/review", recommendation, how-to, problem-solving and "what is". |
The volume and intent inputs come from prompt volume analysis. See Prompts.
How do I use the opportunities list?
The top of the page shows four cards: Total Opportunities, High Impact, Avg. Score and Sent to Workflow (opportunities sent or in progress).
Narrow the list with three filters: All Statuses, All Impacts and All Types. The table shows Action, Type, Impact, Score, Status and Actions.
For an opportunity with status New, the row has Send (send it to your webhook) and a dismiss button. A dismissed opportunity can be restored with Undo in the confirmation message.
Which bulk actions are there?
The AnswerixAI Content page has four bulk actions: Send All, Done, Dismiss All and Delete. Select opportunities with the checkboxes to act on several at once:
- Send All: sends every selected opportunity to your webhook.
- Done: marks the selection as Done.
- Dismiss All: dismisses the selection after you confirm. This can't be undone.
- Delete: permanently deletes the selection after you confirm. Any generated brief is deleted too, and deleting doesn't return brief quota. Dismiss instead if you only want the opportunity out of the way.
What is on the opportunity detail page?
Click an opportunity to open its detail page. The header shows the title and description, the type, impact, status and score badges, and the date it was created.
What source data does an opportunity show?
The Source Data card on an opportunity shows the numbers behind it: the related prompt, estimated AI volume, current visibility, competitor gap, search intent, keywords, competitors cited, and observed fan-out queries when available:
- Related Prompt
- Est. AI Volume (per month)
- Current Visibility
- Competitor Gap
- Search Intent
- Keywords
- Competitors Cited
- Observed fan-out queries: the searches AI engines ran for the prompt, with how often each was searched, when available. See Query fan-out.
How do I generate a content brief?
To generate a content brief in AnswerixAI, open an opportunity on the Content page and click Generate Content Brief. The brief gives you a suggested title, content type, target word count, outline, target keywords, competitor insights and a call to action.
- Open an opportunity.
- Click Generate Content Brief.
The brief contains:
- A suggested title.
- A content type: blog post, comparison page, landing page, FAQ page, guide or case study.
- A target word count.
- An outline of 3 to 8 sections, each with key points (shown as Brief Outline).
- 3 to 10 target keywords.
- Competitor Insights: what competitors are doing and where the gap is.
- A recommended call to action.
Each opportunity has one brief. Once it exists, the dashboard shows it and doesn't offer to regenerate it.
How do I generate a content draft?
After the brief exists, a Content Draft card appears under it.
- Click Generate Content Draft. AnswerixAI writes the full article from the brief: the body, meta title, meta description, slug, FAQs, key takeaways and structured data (JSON-LD).
- Edit the article body in the Rich Text view. The Markdown view is a read-only preview of the same content.
- Edit Meta Title, Meta Description and Slug under On-Page SEO.
- Add, edit or remove FAQs and Key Takeaways.
- Click Save Draft to keep your changes.
The Regenerate button sits next to Save Draft. Save your edits first: loading a draft replaces unsaved changes in the editor. The Structured Data (JSON-LD) block is shown for copying and isn't editable.
How many briefs and drafts can I generate?
AnswerixAI content briefs and content drafts each have a monthly quota shared by every brand in your organization. Starter includes 10 briefs and 5 drafts a month, Growth 30 briefs and 5 drafts, Business 50 briefs and 25 drafts, and Enterprise is custom.
| Plan | Content briefs per month | Content drafts per month |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 10 | 5 |
| Growth | 30 | 5 |
| Business | 50 | 25 |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom |
Each extra brand on Business adds 10 briefs a month. The detail page shows how many briefs or drafts remain. Quotas reset when your subscription renews. Opening an existing brief or draft doesn't use quota.
How do I send an opportunity to my workflow?
AnswerixAI sends opportunities to a webhook URL, so you can connect tools such as n8n, Make or Zapier.
How do I set up the brand webhook?
- On the Content page, click Webhook Settings.
- Enter the Webhook URL.
- Optionally enter a Secret Key (optional). It is sent with each delivery in the
X-Webhook-Secretheader. - Leave the toggle on Active.
- Click Test Webhook to send a test event, then Save Webhook.
How do I send one article to a different URL?
On an opportunity's detail page, click the settings icon (Article webhook settings) to give that article its own webhook. When it is active, that article is sent there instead of the brand webhook.
How do I send opportunities?
Click Send to Workflow on the detail page, Send in the list, or Send All for a selection. The opportunity's status changes to Sent to Workflow. The delivery includes the opportunity, its source data, the brief and the draft when they exist.
See the webhooks reference for the payload and delivery details. You can update an opportunity's status from your own tools through the REST API.
On the detail page, Dismiss removes a New opportunity from your queue, with Undo available right after.
What are some tips for using Content?
Three habits help you get the most from the AnswerixAI Content page: shortlist high-impact new opportunities each week, use earned opportunities for outreach, and audit a published page before you mark its opportunity done.
- Filter to High impact and New status to build a short weekly shortlist.
- Use Earned opportunities for outreach and PR, and check Citations for the sites that AI engines already cite in your category.
- Check a published page with Site Audit before you mark the opportunity Done.
