Terms of Service

1. The Service

AnswerixAI is an AI visibility platform that helps organizations track, analyze, and improve how their brand appears across AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot. The Service includes prompt monitoring, citation tracking, competitor benchmarking, content optimization tooling, site audits, AI traffic analytics, an AI agent chat interface, and API/MCP access, as described on our features pages and made available under your selected plan.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and keep that information up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

3. Plans, Billing, Trials, and Refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, as chosen at checkout) through our payment processor. Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), unless stated otherwise. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees due.

Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless canceled beforehand. You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.

Monthly plans are not refundable, including for partial months, except where required by law.

Yearly plans can be cancelled with a refund within 7 days of your first yearly payment (not a renewal), once per account. To request it, cancel from Settings → Billing and tell us why. We keep one month at the full monthly price of your plan and any extra brands — which also removes the yearly saving and any introductory or partner discount — and refund the rest of what you paid to your original payment method. We review requests within 2 business days; once approved, the subscription ends immediately. After those 7 days, yearly plans are not refundable except where required by law.

We may change our pricing on a going-forward basis with reasonable advance notice to active subscribers.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any applicable law or the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or the infrastructure underlying the Service;
• Use the Service to scrape, resell, or redistribute tracked AI-platform data in bulk to a third party in competition with AnswerixAI, except as expressly permitted by your plan (for example, agency/whitelabel plans that permit client reporting);
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including through excessive automated requests outside documented API/MCP rate limits;
• Use the Service to generate or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringing.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

5. Third-Party AI Platforms

The Service retrieves and analyzes publicly observable outputs from third-party AI answer engines and search platforms (for example, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, and Google AI Overviews/AI Mode). We do not control these third-party platforms, their availability, or the accuracy of the answers they generate. Tracked results reflect a point-in-time observation of a third-party system's output and may not be reproducible on demand from that platform. AnswerixAI is not affiliated with, and does not claim endorsement from, any AI platform referenced in the Service.

6. Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) Features

Certain features, such as the AI agent chat, may allow you to connect your own API key for a third-party AI provider (for example, Anthropic). Keys you provide are encrypted at rest. You are responsible for the terms, costs, and usage limits associated with any third-party API key you connect, and for revoking a key you no longer wish AnswerixAI to use.

7. Your Data and Content

"Customer Data" means the brand information, prompts, competitors, uploaded content, and other data you submit to the Service, and the tracked results the Service generates on your behalf. You retain all rights to Customer Data. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service for you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to submit any data (including third-party brand or competitor names) to the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

AnswerixAI and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in the Service, including its software, design, and underlying technology, excluding Customer Data. Nothing in these Terms transfers any AnswerixAI intellectual property to you except the limited right to use the Service as permitted by these Terms and your plan.

9. Confidentiality

Each party may disclose confidential information to the other in connection with the Service. The receiving party will use the disclosing party's confidential information only to perform its obligations under these Terms and will protect it using at least the same degree of care it uses to protect its own confidential information, and no less than reasonable care.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI-GENERATED SUMMARIES, RECOMMENDATIONS, AND VISIBILITY SCORES PRODUCED BY THE SERVICE ARE PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND MAY CONTAIN INACCURACIES; YOU SHOULD INDEPENDENTLY VERIFY ANY MATERIAL DECISION MADE IN RELIANCE ON THEM.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PALZIN PRIVATE LIMITED WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms if the other materially breaches them and fails to cure the breach within thirty (30) days of written notice. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for violations of Section 4 (Acceptable Use) or to comply with law. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8–11) will survive.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or an in-product notice) before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to any mandatory consumer protection law that applies to you, the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
