1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and pixel-based beacons, which this page refers to collectively as "cookies."

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary. Required for the Service to function — for example, keeping you signed in, remembering your session, and protecting against cross-site request forgery. These cannot be disabled, as the Service will not work without them.

Preference. Remember settings such as your selected theme (light/dark) and locale.

Analytics. Help us understand aggregate usage of the marketing site and dashboard (for example, which pages are visited) so we can improve the product. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent, as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law.

Marketing (opt-in). Where enabled, used to measure the effectiveness of our own marketing campaigns. AnswerixAI does not use third-party advertising cookies to build cross-site ad-targeting profiles of visitors.

3. The AI Traffic Pixel

Separately from the cookies described above, customers on eligible plans may embed our optional /t.js beacon on their own websites to measure traffic referred by AI answer engines. This beacon is customer-configured and reports back referring-platform, landing-page, and country-level data as described in our Privacy Policy — it is not used to track visitors across unrelated third-party sites.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some functionality is provided by third-party subprocessors (for example, our payment processor during checkout), which may themselves set cookies necessary for their functionality. These are governed by the applicable third party's own privacy and cookie policies.

5. Managing Your Preferences

Non-essential cookies are set only after you give consent through the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can withdraw or change that consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, via the cookie preferences link in the site footer. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies; note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to the dashboard.

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to this signal, the Service does not currently respond differently to it; we instead honor the cookie consent choices you make directly in our cookie banner and preference center.

7. Changes to This Page

We may update this page from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies and technologies we use. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
