Daily Pulse
Get a daily or weekly AI visibility digest by email and webhook, with your KPIs, highlights and warnings about drops, competitors and lost citations.
Updated
AnswerixAI Daily Pulse is a short AI visibility digest for one brand, delivered by email and optionally to a webhook. It tells you where your visibility stands, what went well, and what needs attention, without opening the dashboard. You choose whether it arrives every day or once a week, and who receives it. Daily Pulse is off until you turn it on for a brand.
How do I turn on Daily Pulse?
Daily Pulse is set up per brand, for the brand currently selected in the sidebar.
- Select the brand in the sidebar.
- Open Settings and select the Notifications tab.
- Set Digest frequency to Daily or Weekly.
- In Recipients, enter the email addresses that should receive it, separated by commas.
- Click Save.
To stop the digest, set Digest frequency to Off and click Save. Every Daily Pulse email also has a Manage notification settings link that opens this tab.
When is Daily Pulse sent?
Daily Pulse is sent after the brand's scheduled daily tracking run finishes. On-demand runs and single-prompt refreshes don't trigger it.
- Daily: a digest after each day's run, covering that run's results.
- Weekly: one digest on Mondays, covering the last 7 days.
A brand gets at most one digest per day (or per week on the weekly setting). If there are no new tracking results for the period, no digest is sent. If a digest is missed, for example because of a delivery problem, AnswerixAI sends it later so the day isn't skipped.
What's in a Daily Pulse?
Each digest has three parts: KPIs, highlights and warnings. Highlights and warnings only appear when something qualifies, so a quiet day can have neither.
Which KPIs does Daily Pulse show?
Daily Pulse shows six KPIs for the period: your Visibility score, the 7-day trend, mentions, citations, positive sentiment, and prompts covered. Each count comes with its change from the previous period, and the Visibility score is the same score the AnswerixAI dashboard shows.
| KPI | What it means |
|---|---|
| Visibility | Your AI Visibility score for the period |
| 7-day trend | Your Visibility score over the last 7 days, and the change in points from the 7 days before |
| Mentions | How many times AI answers mentioned you, and the change from the previous period |
| Citations | How many times AI answers cited your website, and the change from the previous period |
| Positive sentiment | The share of answers with positive sentiment about you, and the change |
| Prompts covered | How many of your tracked prompts you appeared in, out of the total |
The Visibility score is the same score the dashboard shows. See Visibility scoring. The email's subject line includes the brand, the Visibility score and the 7-day trend in points.
Which highlights can appear?
Four Daily Pulse highlights can appear: First citation when a target URL is cited for the first time, Prompt gain when a prompt's Visibility score rises by 5 points or more, Competitor overtaken when you move above a tracked competitor, and New engine when your brand appears on an AI engine for the first time.
| Highlight | When it appears |
|---|---|
| First citation | A page you added as a Target URL on a prompt was cited by an AI answer for the first time (up to 5 per digest). |
| Prompt gain | A prompt's Visibility score rose by 5 points or more this week compared with the week before (the top 3 are listed). |
| Competitor overtaken | Your Visibility score moved above a tracked competitor that was level with or ahead of you the week before. |
| New engine | Your brand appeared on an AI engine for the first time ever. |
Which warnings can appear?
Five Daily Pulse warnings can appear: Sharp drop, Visibility slipping, Competitor surge, Competitor crossed and Lost citations. Visibility drop warnings need at least 10 tracked prompts, and the same warning is held back for 7 days after it is sent.
| Warning | When it appears |
|---|---|
| Sharp drop | Your 7-day Visibility score fell by 30% or more of its value compared with the previous 7 days (and by at least 3 points). |
| Visibility slipping | Your 7-day Visibility score fell by 10% or more of its value (and by at least 3 points) from a score of at least 10, without being a sharp drop. |
| Competitor surge | A tracked competitor's 7-day Visibility score rose by 15 points or more compared with the previous 7 days. |
| Competitor crossed | A tracked competitor moved from level with or behind you to ahead of you. |
| Lost citations | A prompt with estimated AI search demand has gone uncited on its 3 most recent tracked days, after being cited on at least 60% of its earlier tracked days in the last 14 days. |
Visibility drop warnings need at least 10 tracked prompts, so a small prompt set doesn't trigger them by chance.
After a warning has been sent, the same warning is held back for 7 days so you don't get it again every day. When an AI engine has a data-collection problem on our side, the digest says so, and drop and lost-citation warnings are paused so a collection gap isn't reported as a real drop.
Can I send Daily Pulse to a webhook?
Yes. Each Daily Pulse is also sent to the brand's active webhook as a daily_pulse.created event, with the brand and the full digest: date, frequency, KPIs, highlights, warnings and any engines with data-collection problems. The webhook is the one you set up on the Content page with Webhook Settings. The webhook receives the digest even if Recipients is empty, as long as Digest frequency isn't Off.
See Webhooks for the payload format and the optional secret header.
Which plans include Daily Pulse?
Daily Pulse is available for every brand on every paid plan, at no extra cost.
